The Jets
In the eighties, the teen-aged band called "The Jets" found great success in the pop market. The Jets group was
comprised of eight kids from the same family! In fact, there were 17 children in the family in whole. Their
parents were from Tonga, but immigrated to the United States in 1965, and they raised their children in Minneapolis.
The top Jets hits were "Crush on You" and "You Got It All" in the late '80s. They also had gold and platinum albums,
"The Jets" and "Magic." Eventually, the group members went their own ways, but have gotten together to record faith-
oriented albums.
